Campbell County Detention Center Garden

The Campbell County Detention Center production garden has 60 raised garden beds and sells produce to the Neighborhood Farmers Market of NKY and local restaurants. All proceeds from the production garden goes back into the network of Newport Community Gardens to buy seeds, plants, and materials. The aims of the production garden is to make the community garden model more self sustaining.

Sidestreams staff manages the production garden with the help of inmates who can elect to participate in a work release program through Campbell County.
